Day 00

Welcome aboard Thomas Cook’s ‘Australian Extravaganza’ tour. Depart for Melbourne:

Bon voyage! Today, you are off to for your exciting tour of Australia. Embark on your overnight flight to the vast island country which has so much for you to explore, whether you want nature, wildlife, cityscapes, islands, rainforest and reef. It is also a heaven of natural beauty, relaxation, culinary experience, adventure, wonderful sights and great shopping. Overnight onboard the flight.

Day 01

Arrive in to Melbourne – the Victorian Capital. Transfer to your hotel. Guaranteed early check in. Afternoon Orientation City tour with MCG guided tour:

On arrival at Melbourne airport, you will be greeted by your friendly and experienced Thomas Cook Tour Manager/ Local Representative outside the baggage hall. Proceed to hotel in Melbourne and then check in. You will get breakfast if your arrival at hotel before 1000 hrs. After a long time you have some time at the hotel to relax and get rid of your jetlag. Enjoy Indian Lunch. Next we proceed to discover the breath taking landmarks and monuments of Melbourne on your city tour, which includes an orientation tour of the Royal Botanical Gardens, Town Hall, St. Patrick’s Cathedral, National Tennis centre, the 1956 Olympic venue, the Shrine of Remembrance, Bourke Street Mall and some beautifully restored Victorian houses. Enjoy a guided tour of the spectacular Melbourne Cricket Ground – one of Australia’s greatest assets. Tonight enjoy dinner at a local Indian restaurant in Melbourne. (* Note that in case MCG does not operate due to match day or any other event this experience will be covered at SCG. In a rare event of both MCG and SCG not available, amount for guided MCG tour will be refunded.)

Enjoy a memorable excursion to the Great Ocean Road:

After an early breakfast at the hotel, get set for a day tour to the Great Ocean Road. Enjoy the spectacular views over golden surf beaches, sheer cliff faces. Enjoy local lunch. Drive along the coastline of Port Campbell National Park. The coastline with its twisted shapes of amazing rock formation, the famous ‘Twelve Apostles’ – huge stone pillars rising from the surf, the Loch Ard Gorge. Enjoy dinner at a local Indian restaurant.

Flight to Brisbane or Gold Coast airport. Proceed towards Gold Coast – Australia’s entertainment capital. Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary with Koala Photo:


After breakfast we proceed to for airport to board your flight to Brisbane or Gold Coast airport. Proceed to Gold Coast and enjoy Lunch. Post lunchenjoy a close encounter with Australia’s native animals at the Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, located on the Gold Coast. Your ticket includes admission to the park plus daily keeper presentations and animal shows. Admire critters such as the kangaroo, Tasmanian devil, koala, wombat, echidna and reptiles that live in natural-style bush and rainforest habitats. Walk through the stunning 5-acre forest of the Lost Valley and see unique flora and wildlife such as lemurs, red pandas, capybaras and other exotic reptiles.

You will also experience and get a Koala Photo at Currumbin Wildlife world to bring back.

Jet Boat Ride and Fun-filled day to ‘Movie World’ – Hollywood in Gold Coast with lunch and soft drinks:


Today after an American breakfast at the hotel, next have some fun and excitement as you enjoy 360 Degree spin, on a high speed drifting Jet Boat ride on backwaters of Gold Coast. It is a great way to see what the glitzy Gold Coast is all about.


Next we will visit Movie World, the vehicles will then drop you at Warner Brothers ‘Movie World’ where movie magic happens every day. Enjoy local lunch with Soft drinks included. Meet your favourite stars and enjoy all behind-the scene actions, comedy stunts along with Exhilarating rides, shows and attractions like the Superman Escape, Green Lantern, Scooby Doo, etc. Also have a chance of meeting and taking off on the ultimate Batwing Space shot ride.

Enjoy a delicious dinner at a local Indian restaurant
