Almost every month of the year, there is one festival or other in Nagaland, celebrated by one tribe or other. Villages in Nagaland have sixteen major tribes, of which, every tribe and sub-tribe has their unique houses with unique furniture, traditional ornaments, and even dresses which are mostly made of natural fabrics and some animal and plant products. This land is scenic as well as rich in its tradition and history.
